Very sleepy. I spent 16 hours here yesterday/early this morning. Now, I’m here again to assay my fractions and see if I have any protein. I swear I’m going home early today. I swear.

Haha, no you’re not. Sucker. Your protein is so going to do something wrong and keep you there late. It’s in the International Code of Protein Pain-in-the-Assness or something.
Yeah, don’t lie to us… we know better. 😀
Go weekend!!
And you all were right. Protein ended up in the void fraction. Which I conveniently spilled (because it was late and I said to myself, well at least it was just the void). Sigh. I’m going to try to save the remnant of the spilled void and then start over on Sunday. Sigh. I’m freaking exhausted.
EtBr, I have no idea how you pull 36 hour days with regularity. I’m about to crash after about 32.
No Sunday! You spilled it because you were tired! Get some rest and start again on Monday.
You know how camels have a big hump and they store water and fat in it so they can go a really long time without drinking water and eating when they cross the desert?
Well, I have a sleep-hump. If I get one night of 9ish hours of sleep per night, then I can get get 3 hours of sleep every other night the rest of the week and be totally fine. Or zero hours of sleep because I’m working 36 straight hours, and just need 5 hours instead of 3. It really came in handy when I was trying to crank out 4,000 projects for my wedding in addition to being in the lab.
